PENDLETON CONVENTION

      The first planned activity of the Convention was for Chapter Meetings.  The CA/NV Chapter members were 123 strong for an active and fruitful meeting.

      The Convention ended with a bang - an UNplanned event:  wildfires that surrounded Pendleton on three sides which sent the Chapter President scurrying back from the Awards Banquet to the RV park.  The fire had already burned on two sides of the RV park, and came within 10 ft. of the Rupps' motorhome.  All was well at the RV park, although the fires raged all night in the high winds.
